Plans are back on to make the prehistoric sequel, however, as Deadline reports that DreamWorks has resumed production on The Croods 2 and has tentatively dated the film for September 18th, 2020.
Originally slated for a Christmas release, the Croods sequel will now arrive on November 25th, the day before Thanksgiving.
